Health Reimbursement Arrangements Available to Small Employers

The 21st Century Cures Act made an option available for small employers to adopt a Qualified Small Employer Health Reimbursement Arrangement (QSEHRA) for 2017.  A QSEHRA will permit a small employer who may not employee enough employees to be covered by the Affordable Cara Act (ACA) employer coverage mandate to reimburse their employees for their cost of purchasing their own coverage.
