Post Your OSHA 300A Log

Each year, employers of 11 or more employees must post Cal/OSHA Form 300A Annual Summary.

Summaries must be posted by Feb. 1 and remain posted until April 30, in a location where workplace postings are normally made.

To avoid disclosing confidential information noted on Cal/OSHA Form 300, Illness and Injury Log, employers should post only the Form 300A Annual Summary.

Posting is required on an establishment-by-establishment basis, meaning the 300A Summary must be posted at each physical location where employees work. The 300A Summary must be made available to employees who do not regularly report to a fixed workplace.

The summary must be certified by an authorized management representative, such as an owner, officer, or the highest-ranking company official at the establishment. Even if no injuries were recorded in the prior calendar year, the summary must be posted with a zero on each “Total” line.
