ICE Changes Direction on “Technical” v. “Substantive” I-9 Violations
As of March 16, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement significantly tightened Form I-9 enforcement, reclassifying many previously “technical” errors as “substantive” violations, removing the 10-day cure period for corrections.
