New California Whistleblower Notice

Due to recently enacted changes to the California Labor Code, California employers are required to post a revised version of the state's notice on the rights of "whistleblowers" (individuals who enjoy legal protection when they disclose illegal activity, whether in employment situations or other business situations.)

The October issue of FELS Newsletter will include a patch (in English and Spanish) for 2014 Employment Notices Book & Laminated Posters, and the revised notice will be included in the 2015 edition of the posters and book.

Affix the patch over the whistleblower notice on 2014 Employment Notices Poster #2, or on the 14th page of the 2014 Employment Notices Book.

If you prefer, you can download English or Spanish versions of the new notice at this link (English) or this link (Spanish), mark through the whistleblower notice on 2014 Employment Notices Poster #2 and post this notice separately.  If you are using 2014 Employment Notices Book, you can tape the DIR notice you print over the English portion of the whistleblower notice on the 14th page of the book.
