Mid-September temperatures are expected to be well in excess of either the 80˚ threshold triggering requirements of Heat Illness Prevention standard, or the 95˚ threshold for extra protections required by the regulation. Cal/OSHA is urging employers to protect their employees from the ill effects of high temperatures by implementing the Indoor and Outdoor Heat Illness Prevention Standards, issuing this Advisory on September 17.
